I would like to share my thoughts on Paul Selig's teachings from The Guides. I find that they resonate quite a bit with my own thoughts. Whatever one thinks of channeling itself, the information coming through Paul is quite interesting. For those unfamiliar, Paul Selig is said to be a channel for a collective spiritual entity known commonly as The Guides or sometimes as Melchizedek. Being a channel, in over-simplified terms, means hearing from them in one way or another and speaking what he hears. This can be audible, energetic, impressions, or even what we might call possession, but I do not intend to speak to Paul's specific method or the veracity of it. Let's talk instead about the teachings.
I do not speak on behalf of The Guides, but this is what I have understood from their teachings. The Guides consider the entirety of the universe as a single conscious entity that they choose to call God. They do not care what words are used to describe God: Source, Everything, Universal Consciousness, etc. God is a simple word, it's short, to the point, and they wish to reclaim the meaning from the twisted perspective of religious dogma. Fair enough. It does run the risk of confusion with preconceived ideas, so let's define this clearly early on.
They indicate that God is everything and that everything is nothing more than a single vibratory note expressed in many ways. Matter is not matter, it is simply a perception to be as such. Quantum Physics is surprisingly on board with this potential. In such a way, I am a manifestation of God as are you, as is the coffee I drink and the computer I'm typing on. We are all aspects of God. The Guides are okay with calling it all divine.
Even we, in our consciousness, are parts of the divine according to their teaching. There is no one, no matter how sinister, who is not an aspect of God. This comprehension is important because it's the basis for the rest of the teachings. In such a way, there really is no right or wrong—simply our perceptions. We choose to know things as right, wrong, good, or bad, but it's all just God itself expressing itself however we, as aspects of God, decide to do so. We experience what we create and then we tend to judge our creation and experience despite being the creators of it.
Judgement of people or things is understood as declaring separation from God. We decry something as evil and wanting to kill it, remove it, or alter it, but it is all still God. To fight half of God is still to fight God. If we fight God, we are putting ourselves also in separation from God and proclaim ourselves apart. This can all be hard to swallow if we don't comprehend the nature of things as also taught by The Guides. Nothing is real. There is no past, there is no future, there is only the now and how we collectively decide to experience it.
We, as consciousness, agree to what the past was and so, for us, it is what the past was. It is not, however, a real thing. It is simply what we experience because we, collectively, agree to it. Things remain as they are and operate as they operate because we hold these ideas in our minds together that this is what must be. According to their teachings, we could at any time collectively agree on any other arrangement, and reality would become that new arrangement.
Along with reality being shaped by collective agreement, the things that appear to occur are also shaped by collective agreement of what is possible. If we collectively believe it is possible to float into the air, people would start floating into the air. If we believe this is not possible collectively, it will not be possible. However, a single person who is fully aware of their ability and the nature of things, might very well be able to do what they comprehend is possible. So even if the rest of us do not believe we can float, one who knows without shadow of a doubt that he can, will indeed be able to. It is not clear to me what the limitations are on this since there is collective agreement that can seemingly influence individual ability.
Before we dive headlong into this ability, however, let's consider our own mental, emotional, or spiritual well-being. If we know for a fact that we are able to produce whatever we want before us, and that knowing makes it so, how confident are we that we can produce a reality before us that we actually prefer? If we are fearful, we will bring those fearful things into reality. We already do this, but with the confines of what we "know" is "possible." We all know that chairs don't grow teeth and eat us and we all maintain that perspective quite strongly, but what if we knew it could be so? If we knew it could be so and I began to fear it being so, I would literally attune to that perspective and make it so. This power to manifest is both amazing and damning. We could create our own hells if we are not aligned on a level so as to bring us our own peace.
The dynamic between our creative power and the manifestation of reality appears to be a significant aspect of their teaching but it's somewhat obscured. The guides focus much less on that creative ability and more on our own removal of fear—obviously for good reason. Knowing what is possible before we are ready can be quite damning for us. I might be extrapolating a little beyond their teachings, but this is what I am comprehending from them. And so, it is vastly important that we recognize that all is God, that judgement, separation, and fear reflects back our reality to us, and that first and foremost we must learn to operate within a mindset of peace and safety in order to make that our manifest reality.
The world as we know it appears to be guided by fear and separation as we know it today, but this is temporary. What is coming, according to these teachings, is a world where those of us who learn to manifest in peace and safety begin to inherit the Earth and create based upon our own desires. Fear becomes the weaker force and safety becomes the stronger force. This is now accelerating. The world as a whole will essentially be remade. As it goes through the pangs of this birthing process, it is somewhat irrelevant what occurs. Governments could collapse among many other things, but reality becomes what we, as a collective, envision so there is no event that we should fear.
But okay, until such a time as the main collective of the world agrees on something better, what do we do in the meantime and what good is this knowledge? First and foremost, the teachings would have us recognize that our expectation that the minds will not align in peace is itself a form of fear and manifestation that puts us on the wrong side of the manifestation fence so to say. It is better to "capital K Know" that this is coming. By knowing it, we manifest it. And similarly, not everything is based upon the collective—the personal manifestations simply work within the confines of the collective agreement.
So as we go about our lives, we can already carve out a little space of heaven, so to say, with our own alignment. When we remove fear in our day to day while comprehending we are all God made manifest and who manifest, The Guides say we begin to radiate a tone of our own. We create a bubble of safety. We emanate this bubble around us and raise the attunement of others as well. This isn't to say that all the others become like us, but that their tones will work in harmony with our own like a chord on a guitar or piano. The minor tones are just as useful as the major tones and they work in concert with one another.
The only question, then, is how to remove fear and so trust in this divine ability. Not only do we create our own slice of heaven by doing so, but we impact the world around us wherever we are toward this higher way of being. The world begins to work in our favor. So how do we remove the fear? First and foremost is detachment from outcomes. If I am so strongly focused on keeping my job because.... how does one finish that sentence without fear? It's needed for money so that I can keep my house and feed my family. Is it though? Are there not other ways? If we cling to a single idea as a requirement, then as we see that requirement slipping, we begin to fear. We must detach from outcomes and simply know that if it's slipping away, then to use The Guides' teachings: it is not in accord with the chord being played. So let it go. The chord being played will arrange things for peace for those who are attuned to—or in accord with—peace.
It's simple enough to say that we ought to detach and trust, but the trust becomes the crux of it. How can we trust? All we have known is fear. Our whole lives have been a string of fears, disappointments, horrors, and bad news. Well, it hasn't in reality, but that is how we've perceived it. As we begin to perceive in a new way, we will experience what comes with it and trust will be built. As we comprehend these ways and abide by them, we will see that they are true and we can grow our trust. The more trust, the more power, the larger bubble, the quicker and less destructive we bring about the new Earth.
Once again, this is me summarizing what I understand to be the teachings of The Guides. Whether or not I summarize accurately and whether or not it is to be believed is for you to decide. Personally, however, as I have begun to live my life this way, I will say that my bubble appears improved. I am more joyful, less fearful, and things are just... lining up. Could be coincidence, but I honestly can't see a reason to believe any other way. Even if this is all hooey, science would actually have us know that this is the most reliable bet for how any one of us should live. This is because, at the very least, science has proven that we do influence our reality based upon our expectations. I talk about this in great length in Part 1 of my free book: Your Mind is Made of Voices.
This book is free because I believe it benefits me just as much as everyone else for more people to manifest a peaceful world. This is better than money. If you wish to aid me in my pre-Utopian existence, however, you can also buy a physical book at that same link. This could ultimately aid me in bringing this message out to others as I can redirect my time, but honestly, I could also be more fruitful at my workplace. Who knows. Part of detachment is simple going with the flow without fear and consternation. Have fun out there! Finding the peace, joy, and love while rejecting fear is what it's all about. Also, feel free to reach out. I love talking about such things.
